MONEY IS POWER A lot of things have been said about Friedemann Friese's game Power Grid, and here's one of them:   WE'RE BAaaAAACK!!... PUNK LIFE Jeremy Dooley • www.insignedesign.com/ Some friends from my college days banded together to form their own board game company with plans of Kickstarting a new game they were calling Steam Court. I contacted them about adding a new typeface to their venture, the result of which is now SteamCourt, an unforgettable display typeface that draws from a mix of Victorian regals, metallic and brass engineering, cogs, clocks and blackletter typography.  Didn't really have time to think about this one, but I couldn't let May 4th slip by without tossing something together! Too much lens flair? I guess we'll find out in December! Happy May! We hope to amass a huge collection of concise and helpful reviews for the community, because we want Tantrum House to be the place people go to when they need quick information on a game. And if 2 minutes ain't quick enough for ya, then let me introduce you to our Game Facts bar:  This puppy will accompany all of our video reviews in the future, so that at a glance you can tell everything (well..almost everything) you need to know about a game. Check out the infographic for an explanation of the bar. And let us know in the comments below if we left anything out. Your feedback will help us make it all the more awesome.   When it comes to board-gaming, Ryan and Will come from two entirely different sides of the spectrum. But with their powers combined they represent the board game industry in its entirety—at least that's what they keep telling everyone (hey, it worked for Star-Lord...). Hopefully this infographic helps explain a little bit of the method behind the madness.
